		<description>I have been reading this in preparation for some evaluation I&#039;m doing - a big community engagement programme. At the same time I&#039;m re-reading Never Mind the Width Fell the Quality, by Morris Hargreaves McIntyre, from a few years ago, for the same reasons. (See link below) 

It struck me that there are correlations between your categories of participation and their 4 &#039;visitor&#039; types, and wondered what these would look like mapped together - my thoughts would be:
Browser = Spectators
Follower = Collector
Searcher = Joiner
Researcher = Creator

Of course it wouldn&#039;t be quite so neat, but an interesting set of takes on ladders of participation that could be used to evaluate levels of engagement?
